Handyman

What the Handyman pack adds: punch lists, fixture swaps, and rental turnovers.

The Handyman pack tunes Manuall for multi-item repair visits: punch lists, fixture swaps, assemblies, and rental turnovers. Apply it at signup or from Settings -> Vertical Packs.

Half-Day and Full-Day Punch Lists, TV Mount + Wall Anchoring, Drywall Patch + Texture Match, Door Repair / Adjust, Fixture Swap (faucet / fan / disposal), Assembly (furniture / play set / grill), Exterior Repair (trim / caulk / screens), and Rental Turnover Punch List. Durations are pre-filled for the slot finder.

Services

A price book anchored on labor, all tagged [REVIEW PRICING]: Hourly Rate, Service Call (first hour + trip), Half-Day and Full-Day rates, and fixed-price common items: TV Mount, Ceiling Fan Swap, Faucet, Disposal, Toilet, Smart Device Install, Drywall Patch, Interior Door (slab), Door Hardware Swap, Caulk Refresh, Furniture Assembly (per hour), and Gutter Re-Secure. Review the prices before quoting; fixed prices assume customer-supplied fixtures.

Checklists

Three, all tagged [REVIEW BEFORE USE]: Arrival + Scope Confirm, Punch List Work Log, and a Departure Walkthrough.

Typical workflow

  • The half-day rate is the anchor; single-item calls carry the service-call minimum so short visits still pay.
  • Walk the whole list with the customer before starting and agree what happens today vs a return visit. Scope drift is this trade's margin killer.
  • The "Needs Licensed Trade Referral" field keeps the shop on the right side of state licensing caps: flag electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural work instead of attempting it.
  • Rental turnovers are the recurring base: property managers book them in batches, and the final photo set goes through the portal.

Know your licensing cap

Most states cap unlicensed handyman work by job dollar value, and some by task type.

Check your state's threshold before quoting larger scopes; the pack's referral flag exists so the ceiling is a workflow, not a surprise.

Re-applying and mixing packs

Handyman shops that lean into one trade (a lot of drywall, a lot of doors) can layer another pack on top later. Apply more than one from Settings -> Vertical Packs; the pack only adds what's missing.
